I’m an established restauranter (because of publicity reasons I can’t reveal my name ). I’ve set up a group of very prosperous restaurants spanning the country and often speak at conferences and exhibitions, sharing my experience and knowledge with the next set of enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Today I’m going to talk about something fundamental, basic, but unquestionably important; restaurant furniture. Many people I speak to are always wrapped up thinking about every other part of their restaurant – food, staff, number crunching … etc they completley miss the basic bits.

A styled restaurant is an ambient restaurant and ambience is the main reason customers choose to dine out. All of your customers can drive down to Marks & Spencers to buy a gourmet meal for 2 for the same cost of a a couple of glasses of wine , and without the hassle of booking nannies and transport, can eat just as well at home. So why choose to eat out? The service and the ambience makes the night out worth their money.

Choosing the brand of the restaurant is extremley important and you should think about the types of customers you would like to get. Are you going to have a cutting edge or old school or is it a cosy Sunday roast sort of place? Your diner should reflect the style of your brand, the food and the service your customers get. Restaurant furniture is only a single aspect of this but it’s the easiest way to get quick and easy style. Your restaurant table and chairs are where your customers are going to sit, relax, talk, enjoy the ambience and sample your gorgeous food. Choose wisley! There is so many around how do you know which to choose, and will they be a reliable partner or just rip you off.
